PermaSpan Expansion Tanks are designed specifically for the purpose of accomodating the natural expansion in a Hydronic Heating System. To eliminate the water logging that is troublesome but normal in a plain steel diaphragm tank, the air and water within the tank is permanently seperated by a butyle diaphragm.
